That’s why we’ve unlocked more support to help you grow your business with skilled people.
In partnership with the Australian government, we’ve introduced a range of initiatives that can help lower your risk and maximise the benefits of employing skilled people.
From recruitment assistance to on-the-job training packages, apprenticeships and staff retention mechanisms, we’ve made it even easier to grow your business. Subsidised training, low-fee courses, and additional funding for tailored business growth initiatives are all available under our historic investment in skills and training.

What support is available?
Your business may be eligible to receive incentives or wage subsidies for employing new or existing apprentices and trainees. There are also some other allowances available that may assist with costs associated with hiring an apprentice or trainee.
There are a range of supports being offered by the South Australian and Australian Government. See the latest list of programs and support available for more information and details.
Who is eligible?
In order to be eligible for incentives and wage subsidies, employers must be registered to employ an apprentice or trainee.
You need to check the specific conditions and eligibility requirements for any incentive, project or subsidy you wish to apply for. Some may not be relevant to your business, for example rural and regional incentives are only open to businesses operating in those areas.
All financial support is subject to eligibility, budget availability and are accessible for a nominated period of time or capped at a total number of allocated places. For more details see South Australian and Australian Government support information.
How do I claim?
To make claims for financial support you need to check the specific details of each incentive and subsidy. See government support for more information.
In some cases, your Australian Apprenticeships Support Network provider (AASN) can support you through all the necessary steps to apply for, and claim incentives and subsidies.
